With a modular volumetric treehouse construction system, the 8 beach support facilities are part of the redevelopment plan for Monte Gordo Beach, in the Algarve. The choice of this system and its Kerto structure (the most resistant structural wood on the market) is due to its efficiency and speed of construction, combined with sustainability and respect for the environment.

The Calouste Gulbenkian Modern Art Centre has been transformed with a curvilinear structure designed by the Japanese firm Kengo Kuma & Associates, clad in thermally treated ash wood supplied by JULAR. The renovation created an innovative dialogue between the building and its surroundings, integrating gardens and urban spaces. The new entrance at the southern vertex and the elegant wooden canopy reinterpret the original architecture, aesthetically connecting the space to the rest of the Foundation. It is a project that deserves to be experienced in person, highlighting the harmony between the modern and the natural.

An integral part of the National School Park Project, the Domingos Sequeira School, in Leiria, was the subject of extensive remodeling work. Already with 60 years of existence, this school was completely renovated with new features. The outdoor courtyard has been transformed into a welcoming atrium, which is now the focal point of the school. The structure of the translucent ceiling was made with Kerto beams.
