Founded in 1973 by Júlia and Amaro Santos, Jular has evolved from a pioneer in the import and processing of exotic woods to a leader in sustainable and innovative modular and structural wood construction.
The Terracotta, built by Jular, aims to offer both privacy and openness. The frontage, with strategically positioned openings, ensures privacy from the street while allowing natural light to enter; meanwhile, the rear façade opens widely onto a vast garden, with large windows that integrate the interior and exterior spaces. This creates a more reserved and intriguing front, while the back celebrates natural light and views of the garden. The wooden terraces and pergolas that frame the forest make nature the main attraction as seen from the interior spaces.
